Presenting at the Motor Show in New York concept car Nuvis, representatives of Hyundai have made it clear that this is how they see the immediate future of their models (at least in North America). The success of crossover Hyundai Nuvis will be its hybrid system Hyundai Hybrid Blue Drive, allowing now fully comply with the requirements of fuel economy, which will come into effect in the United States in 2015.

South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor introduced to the local market, an updated urban hatchback Verna, sold in other countries as the Accent. The car received new front bumpers and buildings, grille, side mirrors and optics, as well as name. Now the model is called the Hyundai Verna Transform.

Hyundai Motor starts selling its first electric motor with a liquefied gas Elantra LPI Hybrid in the Korean market. In the forthcoming sale of cars with three finishing options for the cabin: the price of 20.5 million won ($ 16 180) for the initial model HDe-I and 23.2 million won ($ 18 310) for the latest model of HDE-III (prices include tax on consumption).
